About
Professional summary
My background spans payments infrastructure, hospitality and e-commerce platforms, and — more recently — AI-first engineering tools. I care about systems that stay boring in production: predictable, observable, and recoverable when something inevitably goes wrong. I’ve shipped 20+ production systems, mentored 30+ engineers, and kept payment systems at 99.99% uptime.
Engineering philosophy
Good engineering is mostly about reducing the number of ways a system can surprise you. I favor explicit over clever, boring infrastructure over novel infrastructure, and teams that can reason about failure modes before they hit production. Managing engineers is an extension of the same instinct: give people clear ownership, remove ambiguity, and let them build.
